Technical Analysis Training for Korean Markets

We've spent years watching traders make the same mistakes. They jump into positions based on gut feeling, chase momentum without understanding structure, and wonder why results don't match expectations.

Our program focuses on what actually works in South Korean markets. You'll learn to read price action, identify high-probability setups, and manage risk like professionals do. This isn't about magic indicators or secret formulas.

Starting September 2025, we're opening enrollment for our next cohort. Classes run for 16 weeks, meeting twice weekly in Daejeon with additional online support between sessions.

What You'll Actually Learn

Four modules that build on each other. We start with foundations and move toward applying everything in live market conditions. Each phase includes homework, chart reviews, and direct feedback on your analysis.

Market Structure and Price Action

Weeks 1-4

Most traders never learn to read what price is actually telling them. We break down how markets move, why they reverse, and how to spot when sentiment shifts. You'll study KOSPI and KOSDAQ charts daily, marking up structure and getting feedback on your interpretations.

Trend identification across multiple timeframes
Support and resistance that actually matters
Volume analysis for confirmation
Pattern recognition without over-fitting

Indicators and Technical Tools

Weeks 5-8

Indicators aren't magic, but they can help when used properly. We cover moving averages, momentum oscillators, and volume indicators—focusing on Korean market characteristics. You'll learn what works during Seoul trading hours and how overnight US markets affect opening setups.

Moving average systems for trending markets
RSI and MACD for momentum assessment
Bollinger Bands for volatility context
Custom indicator combinations for Korean stocks

Risk Management and Position Sizing

Weeks 9-12

This is where most traders fail. Great analysis means nothing if you size positions incorrectly or don't protect capital. We work through real scenarios using actual Korean stock volatility, calculating position sizes, setting stops, and planning exits before entry.

Portfolio heat management across positions
Stop loss placement based on market structure
Scaling in and out of winning trades
Correlation risk in Korean sector concentration

Live Trading and Strategy Development

Weeks 13-16

Theory meets reality. You'll develop a personal trading strategy, backtest it on historical data, then trade it in real-time with paper accounts. We review every trade together, identifying what worked and what needs adjustment. By graduation, you'll have a tested approach that fits your schedule and risk tolerance.

Strategy creation based on your availability
Paper trading with real-time market data
Daily trade journal reviews and feedback
Final presentation of your complete system

Who's Teaching This Program

Kieran has been trading Korean markets since 2017. Before that, he worked at a proprietary trading desk in Singapore, focusing on Asian equity markets. He's seen enough market cycles to know what beginners struggle with and how to fix those gaps.

Branimir handles the quantitative side. He builds backtesting systems and helps students validate their ideas with data rather than hope. His background is in statistical analysis, which keeps us honest about what actually shows edge.

Eirlys joins for the psychology modules because—let's be real—managing emotions matters as much as reading charts. She's worked with traders who blow up accounts despite knowing technical analysis cold. Her sessions focus on discipline, consistency, and recognizing when you're trading emotionally.

Market-Specific Knowledge
All three instructors actively trade Korean markets and understand local characteristics, from circuit breakers to common retail patterns.
